About Me.

I’m a Ghanaian American cardiologist, cartoonist, and author who grew up in Chicago, Illinois; Hot Springs, Arkansas; and the Woodlands, Texas. I appeared on Good Morning America to  promote my debut novel, On Rotation and am a regular contributor to The Washington Post. When I’m not in the hospital, I can be found drawing comics, writing on my phone, and talking to everyone who will listen about love stories and women’s heart health. My second novel, Between Friends & Lovers, comes out on July 30, 2024.
